Mary remained single and worked as a housekeeper for rich people. She was a housekeeper for Curnow in Bendigo and lived on in the house on her own after he died. This was next door to the matron of the Bendigo Hospital. Mary lived for a time with Phyllis ROBERTS in Coburg who was a Beltana Presbyterian missionary. Mary finished up in Kyneton area.
