Hector Albert CLOVER, Vineyard Labourer of Rutherglen, Birthplace: Benalla, enlisted on 6 Mar 1915 in the Australian Army in WW1. On 12 May 1915 Pte 342 Hector Albert CLOVER went on active service with the 24th Battalion of the Australian Infantry. He was killed in action on 4 Oct 1915 aged 21 yrs and is buried at Lone Pine Cemetery, Gallipoli. His next of kin was his sister, Mrs E MARK of Shakara, Levin, New Zealand.
