Information from a descendant Ron Haley and the Benalla District Family History Group is that Thomas HALEY was born in 1821 at Harrow on the Hill, Middlesex, England s/o Samuel HALEY/Susannah WHITE. Harrow on the Hill is adjacent to the village of Sudbury.

Not to be confused with another Thomas HALEY.
Assisted British Immigration Index to Registers 1839-1871 John HALEY aged 38 and Mary HALEY aged 36 arr Port Phillip, Nov 1841 on the Diamond [Book 1 Page 160] with seven other passengers with the surname HALEY: Nancy 24, Nancy 9, Mary 18, John 15, Pat 12, Thomas 6, Elizabeth 4.
Possible death for this Thomas HALEY - 1891 aged 56 yrs Port Melbourne s/o James/Mary [Vic 7720] Please let me know of any family information.
