Obituary of John REYNOLDS, Wangaratta 25 November 1914 (from Paula Jones)
Death of Everton Farmer - The death occurred in the Wangaratta District Hospital on Sunday night of Mr John Reynolds of Everton, Farmer. Mr Reynolds was attacked by pneumonia early last week, and on the advice of Dr Docker was on Wednesday removed to the hospital. He was 34 years of age and a native of the Tungamah District, being the son of the late Mr and Mrs Thomas Reynolds. John had married Miss Lucy Clover of Yea, and she and a family of five children survive to mourn their sorrowful deprivation. The eldest member of the family is a girl aged ten and the youngest a girl aged 3 years. The deceased had been carrying on a farming business at Everton for some time past, and is a brother of James Reynolds of Chiltern, Mr L Reynolds of Melbourne, Mrs Goodman of St James, and Miss Annie Reynolds of Everton. The remains were conveyed to Yarrawonga and were interred in the Burramine Cemetery, arrangements being carried out by Mr J J Handley.
