[headtone RR] Headstone transcription: GEORGE COMER / Born in / Farrington Gurney / Somerset Eng /17 Oct 1830 / Settled in Lehi / 15 Sep 1866 / A PIONEER / Died 4 Feb 1917 George and Mary Ann COMER and five children arrived in Pennsylvania, America in 1865 before her brother Jesse SMITH and Mary Ann (ms PRICE) emigrated in 1866. The two families met up somewhere before Nebraska and travelled across the plains in the same pioneer company of 'Henry Chipman' to settle in Lehi, about 30m south of Salt Lake City, Utah.
