Landfest 2000 was held on Sunday 19 March at the Creswick Landcare Centre. The festival was coordinated by a committee of representatives from local landcare groups, Creswick Historical Society, Ballarat Environment Network and staff and volunteers of the Creswick Landcare Centre and Nursery.

Scouts at the Mayfly sculpture at the Creswick Landcare Centre are helping to launch fantastic water creatures made by students from Creswick Primary School.

The Creswick Landcare Centre stage where the Ballarat Environment Network Environment Awards were presented. Hedley Thomson officiated.
